1/15 - O Que São Tag Questions? 🏷️
São pequenas perguntas no final de uma frase, usadas para confirmar uma informação. Equivalem ao nosso "não é?", "né?", "certo?" em português.
2/15 - A Regra de Ouro (Inversão) ⚖️
Se a frase for Afirmativa, a Tag Question será Negativa.
Se a frase for Negativa, a Tag Question será Positiva.
Ex: You are tired, aren't you? / You aren't tired, are you?
3/15 - A Regra do Auxiliar ⚙️
A tag sempre usa o verbo auxiliar (ou modal) que corresponde ao tempo verbal da frase original.
Ex: She likes pizza (Presente), doesn't she?
4/15 - A Regra do Pronome 👥
A tag nunca usa nomes de pessoas ou coisas. Você deve converter o sujeito da frase em um pronome (I, you, he, she, it, we, they).
Ex: Mary is here, isn't she?
5/15 - Passado Simples 🔙
Se a frase estiver no passado simples sem auxiliar visível, use did / didn't.
Ex: They went home, didn't they?
6/15 - Tempos Perfeitos ⏳
Se a frase usar Have/Has/Had como auxiliar, use-os na tag.
Ex: He has finished, hasn't he?
7/15 - Exceção 1: I am 🚨
Para a frase afirmativa "I am", a tag question não é "am not I". A forma correta e consagrada é aren't I?
Ex: I am late, aren't I? (Mas: I am not late, am I?)
8/15 - Exceção 2: Let's 💡
Quando a frase começar com "Let's" (convite/sugestão), a tag sempre será shall we?
Ex: Let's go to the beach, shall we?
9/15 - Exceção 3: Imperativos 🛑
Para ordens ou pedidos (que não têm sujeito visível), usamos geralmente will you?.
Ex: Open the door, will you? / Don't drop it, will you?
10/15 - Palavras Negativas Ocultas 🥷
Palavras como never, seldom, hardly, barely, nobody, nothing deixam a frase inteira com sentido NEGATIVO. Logo, a tag tem que ser POSITIVA.
Ex: He never smiles, does he?
11/15 - Pronomes Indefinidos (Pessoas) 👨👩👧👦
Palavras como everyone, everybody, someone, nobody usam o pronome plural they na tag.
Ex: Everyone is ready, aren't they?
12/15 - Pronomes Indefinidos (Coisas) 📦
Palavras como everything, something, nothing usam o pronome singular it na tag.
Ex: Everything is fine, isn't it?
13/15 - This / That / These / Those 📍
This/That vira it. Ex: This is yours, isn't it?
These/Those vira they. Ex: Those are nice, aren't they?
14/15 - There is / There are 🏙️
A palavra "there" é mantida na tag question.
Ex: There is a problem, isn't there?
